What makes you get up in the morning?
Kayleigh wonders....honestly
what makes you get up in the morning?is it the constant scream of the alarm clockthe thought that you have to get something done that dayor is it something else?I actually love getting up in the morning. I normally don't like to sleep in because I think it is a waste of a perfectly good day. Life goes by so fast so whenever you get the opportunity to start a new day, take it. I get up and go to school to see all my friends and learn something. If we just slept in everyday and stayed in the house, life would be super boring. Everyone gets up for a reason whether it is they have work to do, things to learn or people to see. It' probably a combination of all. i know I get up for several reasons it just all depends on the day.
This post by Amanda L. is one I strongly agree with.I too am one who, on a regular basis opposes to sleep in knowing that time will not wait for you to get up! There truly are many people I know who would sleep in til like 1 o'clock, hmm...but I am not one to really judge. My normal wake-up call on weekends is at 7:30 which is enough time to get outta bed, get outta the house and cause some trouble on the Rez. Sike. I have better things to do than cause a ruckus. My schedule is a rollercoaster going to-and-fro from v-ball tourneys to softball clinics and visiting my surviving grandma. "I am not going to let myself wait for time for time never waits for me."

SlaughterHouse-5: "Compare and Contrast between WWII and War in Vietnam"-
A war is usually best defined by one who has experienced or encountered this kind of devastation. Kurt Vonnegut a German-American is the author of Slaughterhouse Five who has different opinions of both the WWII and war in Vietnam. Quote on quote: "Vonnegut opposes any institution be it scientific, religious, or political, that dehumanizes man and considers him a mere number and not a human being."(Riley 1973 p.138) Basically Vonnegut is saying he opposes anything having to do with war. WWII was a worldwide conflict between those that were Allied Powers and the Axis Powers from 1939-1945. Was considered one of the deadliest conflicts of history. The Vietnam War was a military conflict between the communist nations and the anti-communist nations. It had began around 1960's and ended in 1975. Thousands from both sides had died fighting in it. The thing is that WWII was a worldwide tragedy while the Vietnam War was between the independence of the Southern part of Vietnam. So to be exact, Vonnegut was saying these wars were fought for no fair reason, its ridiculous! I agree with Vonnegut in how dumb these wars were and that it truly is better for us all to love eachother that go to war with eachother. True-True...
